Icefantasy builds solar energy plant

In these energy-conscious times we too are setting an example and using innovative technologies to further improve the energy efficiency of our mobile ice rinks. This does not just mean designing new equipment to minimise energy consumption: in a major new development, our photovoltaic plant has just been connected to the mains grid.
This equipment is so efficient that, using solar energy alone, it can power 15(!) of our "New Generation" mobile ice rinks for an average running period of 5 weeks.
Photovoltaic plant rating = 200,000 KW/year
Energy consumption of a 400 m² ice rink over 5 weeks = 13,000 KW
Meanwhile we are working closely with our partner "Sun Solutions" on developing the latest power plant to meet the energy requirements of Icefantasy's entire stock of 30 mobile artificial ice rinks, to be rented throughout Italy this coming winter.
